How Do You Know When Its Time To Leave Your Current Company And Move On?
3 Truths You Must be Aware of.
The question above has haunted me since I began working in the Corporate world. How does one know when its time to leave your position at a company for another better opportunity. I’m sure I’m not the only person who has had this question in their head constantly trying to figure it out.
In my experience in the end to find the answer to the title above it depends on what the person views are or what they quickly notice that makes them realize its time to go.
For me I was a notorious job hopper I jumped from one opportunity to the next without much regard and the only thing that mattered to me was getting that extra money in my pocket that came with the salary hike of the new position.
At first I was all over the place like a newbie while trying to figure out what best fits for me and as time passed and I got my experience I started to notice certain things that would set off my job hopping itch . At first I did not know why this was happening but now I know.
I was able to pin point at least three that pricks up my ears and has me watching the back door and those three reasons I will add below:
How Do You Know When Its Time To Leave Your Current Company:
- You have reached as high as you can go in your position.
- You no longer are learning anything new at the position you are holding.
- The work becomes repetitive.
When you realize these three truths that pop up at the same time, that is when you decide that its time to leave for greener pastures.
