How Looking For Happiness Can Make You Tired As Hell!
Never thought about this until yesterday!

Happiness! Many people want it, fight for it and dare I say kill for it. Its a misty figure you see in a dream. You know its there but when you are just about to reach out and grab it it fades away. Happiness is an elusive feeling and when you have it it feels great then quickly disappears.
In society we love to promote happiness. No matter where we look whether on TV or in real life happiness is something everyone wants and especially needs.
That being said the other day I’m outside walking the Dog and a thought came to my mind after reading some Meme about happiness from some Guru I don’t remember the name right now. Where he said that constantly chasing after happiness can lead to depression. It hit me like a ton a rocks as it made sense to me the minute a picture formed in my mind of the times in the past I chased after happiness. I looked for it in things, in people, in money and where ever I was at the time.
At times I would catch happiness only to have it slip through my fingers like water. The feeling of happiness was a high for me those times I was able to catch it for a brief moment.
In life no one can be happy all the time as we live in a world with a dual nature happiness cannot rule on its own without sadness. Life will make you feel as if you can accomplish anything then one day for no reason it will collapse all around you for no rhyme or reason.
I was constantly on the chase no matter what! My life was in chaos as most young people at the time were. Looking for ourselves and chasing external things so that we can be adored and revered. In reality though I learned quickly that no one gives two shits about you and that in the end happiness depends on you and not on someone else.
As I got older I began to understand how life somewhat works. In that happiness is everywhere we just go about it the wrong way. We think happiness is something that will take all the pain away in your life but the truth is that with happiness you also have to accept pain. Happiness cannot live without pain which is what binds it to you. Pain will show you where you are in life and it will also show you how to live and appreciate happiness when it…
